Here are 7 ways we can help our gym members hit their fitness goals.
1. Book a free appraisal
Our gym members are entitled to free fitness appraisals every 6-8 weeks.
In your appraisal, we'll chat to you about your goals and where you're at, check your measurements, flexibility and resting heart rate so we've got stats to compare next time.
After this appointment, we'll write you a brand new, goal-focused workout program and walk you through it during a supervised workout.
Regular fitness appraisals are a great way to switch up your routine and help you stay on track, so if you're due for one, let us know.
2. Use a personal trainer
If you'd like someone to keep you accountable, regular sessions with one of our personal trainers might be the answer.
Personal training sessions will help you challenge yourself and stay focused on your goals.
Our PT's will make sure you're training effectively and safely, and will always push you to keep improving with positive reinforcement and feedback.
1 hour sessions are $82.50 for members. If you've got a gym buddy, we also offer 2-on-1 PT sessions for $53 per person.
3. Hit your cardio goals in our pools
Cardio can be hardio!
If you love the water and hate the treadmill, don't forget we've got pools to help you hit your cardio quota.
Swimming is a low-impact form of cardio that's easy on your joints, making it perfect for everyone, especially people recovering from injury.
Lap swimming is a super effective way to get in shape and build up your stamina.
But if you're not the best at breaststroke (or any stroke) you could simply walk in the shallow end of the pool or rest against the sides and kick your knees up.
Pool and sauna use are included in all our memberships, so definitely take advantage of them.
4. Take up group fitness
If you haven't already jumped on the group fitness bandwagon, what are you doing?
Working out around others is a tried and true way to push yourself even harder.
Like to lift? Try BODYPUMP or GRIT Strength.
Love to bust a move? Try BODYJAM or Zumba.
Prefer functional training? Try Throwdown.
Keen to burn bulk calories and get super sweaty? Try BODYATTACK or BODYCOMBAT.
With over 100 group fitness and yoga classes every week, you're bound to find something you enjoy.
5. Book a body composition scan
Our gym is equipped with an EVOLT360 body composition scanner to help you get the full picture.
Book in a scan to get a detailed report of where you're at, giving you a baseline to compare your future stats to.
In 60 seconds, the non-invasive scan passes a safe electrical current through your feet and hands, determining your:
- Height and weight
- Lean body mass
- Skeletal muscle mass
- Total body water
- Body fat mass
- Visceral fat area
- Total body fat percentage
- Visceral fat level
- Basal metabolic rate (BMR)
- Bio age
- Calorie and macronutrient recommendations
Scans are $15 for members and must be booked in advance.
6. Scroll our Instagram feed for workouts
We regularly film workouts that you can swipe through on our Instagram.
Just scroll through our feed and you'll find them!
We also share these on our TV screens in the gym, so if there's a workout you like, ask one of our gym instructors to write it down for you.

All of our gym instructors are fully qualified, so ask them any of your burning fitness questions and see if they can help.
